The Gowns merge hospital gowns with weighted blankets. Intersecting the sterility and efficiency favoured in our medical system, with alternative healing methods and time-based care. A type of care that holds an intimate comfort when wrapping yourself in a handmade blanket rather than the grey, foreign sheets of a hospital. The weight holds an unresolvable tension between burden and comfort.
